For one family in Brazil, Lula brings optimism

On October 30, voters in Brazil ousted incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro in favor of former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, commonly referred to as Lula.
I got a chance to speak with a woman living in New York City who is a citizen of Brazil and whose whole family still lives there. I’ve edited some replies for grammar and length.
